About

When someone got hurt, they would call me to make an appointment. Then, I got hurt. I did everything I could to make it better, but I wasn’t getting better, I was getting worse. I could not explain why I was so shaken up throughout the day and the months and years that followed. The words would not come out and the tears kept running down my face. There was something wrong and I desperately needed someone to tell me, what the heck was going on with my body. I did get help, a lot of help, and hours and hours of my time was spent on learning everything about trauma. I had to change my career. I had to pivot because I love my job! Being a Registered Massage Therapist has been my identity for over 25 years, it has been and is a part of me. I will not let that go.

I made a promise that I will keep fighting and learn everything I can to help myself and others, understand what is going on, how to deal with it and what to do when they have anxiety, panic attacks and eventually, chronic physical pain. This is now my mission, and I believe, my life purpose. I am determined. I will work hard to instruct, give a voice to the people who suffer silently and to empower them. Your body is not an enemy. Your BODY MAKES SENSE. Listen to your Body, it Makes Sense. A healthy mind is a healthy body, and a healthy body is a healthy mind. Please help me, help you on this healing journey from somebody who is on this journey with you.
